Today wasn't too great. I don't want to say "awful, horrid, terrible" etc.. because I'm grateful for every day I'm alive. But today was a headache, yes that's what it was. Dawson was having a hard time breathing last night and has been coughing up a lung (not literally, that's horrible.) He's also refused to eat anything and cried whenever I tried to feed him. So this morning, after 14 failed attempts (yes FOURTEEN) of calling his Pediatrician to set up a doctor's appointment, I took him to UMC Quick Care. They should really change their name to UMC Doesn't Really Care. They are incredibly SLOW. We were in the waiting room for TWO hours before the lady even called us to take our information and insurance down. Then we waited another 30 minutes to get called back. Once placed in an exam room, we waited yet another HOUR for the doctor to actually come in and see us. Turns out, Dawson has infections in both of his ears and mild RSV, which is a respiratory virus. He's on three different medications. I hope my poor little baby gets better soon. He's taking a nap as I type this and attempt to study/read for History & sip on my French Vanilla tea.

I feel so accomplished! I finally organized my nail polish collection. I used to keep them in a little crate I bought two years ago when I really began collecting.. but my collection has grown and having no room left in the crate, I just scattered them all around my room. I picked up this organizer box from Target for $11.99, a tad pricey just for use as a storage for my nail polishes, but it has proven to be worth every penny.

Dawson is becoming more and more difficult to take pictures of. He's incredibly curious and wants to grab the camera out of my hands allll the time! I love his cheesey smile.

I bought this giant heart pillow last year after Valentine's day:



It was on sale for around $4.99? It was HUGE and cute and I'm a sucker for hearts so I bought it. Now Dawson is putting it to use by sleeping on it. It has become his equivalent to a doggie bed. He'll go and lay on it 'till he falls asleep. It's completely adorable.

As of February 1st, HEYSAMMIE.com belongs to me! Well, for a year.. unless I decide to renew the domain registration. I had my heart set on buying "samantha-lee.net", but well that didn't work out. I went to purchase it then found out it had been sold just two days prior.. to some "sensual massage" business. I wouldn't recommend checking out the site if there are children near.. it's a tad inappropriate. Let's just say that I don't think "massages" are all that they offer..

Dawson has MY daddy's blue eyes and I absolutely love it.

Grandma Carol gave Dawson an Elmo airplane for his 1st Birthday and he loves it!
